- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [28.68](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2035.28.68)

> Old Xu the Sixth was a peasant from Jiaxing. Husband and wife ate vegetarian food, set up images, and focused their mindfulness. Thus for forty years, he repeatedly dreamed of roaming the Pure Land. He prepared a niche beforehand. On the day of his departure, he changed into hemp clothes and straw sandals, entered the niche, and sat upright. In a moment he said, 'The Buddha has come to welcome me,' and peacefully was transformed.
