> Lady Zheng, \[styled\] Jing'an, was from Qiantang. She recited the Buddha's name and chanted sūtras without passing a single day in vain. Later she fell ill and prayed to the Buddha. She heard a voice in the air saying, 'Your departure has a set time; do not be negligent.' She also saw the Buddha's body of golden color. Thereupon she roused herself, sat upright facing west, and instructed the monk Yixiu to chant the Amitābha Sūtra. In an instant she passed away. Her daughter dreamt that her mother reported to her, saying, 'I have already attained rebirth in the Pure Land; you may tell Master Xiu so that he knows.'
