> Note: Ge Hong's Shenxian zhuan states that Emperor Wu of the Han dispatched an envoy to invite Mozi, but he did not arrive. Later there was Liu Zheng, who studied the Records of the Five Elements and consumed the Vermilion Blossom Elixir; his complexion remained like that of a youth, he could transform and conceal his form, and he could travel several thousand li in a single day. The 'Treatise on Arts and Writings' of the Hanshu records seventy-one chapters of the Mozi. Yan Shigu's commentary notes that it includes chapters such as 'Economy of Expenditure', 'Universal Love', 'Exaltation of the Virtuous', 'Elucidation of Ghosts and Spirits', 'Rejection of Fate', and 'Identification with the Superior'.
