When he studied under Kumārajīva, his wondrous comprehension was peerless. The king of Qin once asked Minister over the Masses Yao Song: 'To whom can Master Rui be compared?' Song replied: 'I have not yet seen his match.' When court convened and the high officials gathered in great numbers, Rui's bearing was radiant and clear.
