> In Liang, on the twenty-seventh day of the third month, Dharma Master Fayun passed away into quiescence at the age of sixty-three. The two palaces were deeply grieved. An edict bestowed a secret vessel from the Eastern Garden (a royal coffin), and all the funeral affairs were conducted according to the standards of a princely household. By imperial decree he was buried beside Dinglin Monastery, where an inscription tablet was erected (Principal Biography).
