> In the eleventh month of the xinwei year of Jin, Huan Wen went from Guangling to Jiankang, dropping hints to Empress Dowager Chu to request deposing the emperor and enthroning Sima Yu, the Chancellor and King of Kuaiji. An imperial edict promoted Wen to Chancellor and Grand Marshal to remain in the capital to assist in administration; Wen declined, still requesting to return to his garrison at Gushu (Imperial Annals).
