> Chan Master Sixin of Mount Huanglong in Longxing Prefecture was named Wuxin. He was a son of the Huang family of Shaozhou. At birth, purple flesh covered his left shoulder, bare on the right like a saṅghāṭī robe. When grown, he took the tonsure under Dexiu at Fotuo Monastery. After receiving full ordination, he traveled to study and called upon Chan Master Huitang Xin, obtaining his essential teachings, and subsequently became his dharma heir. Arriving at this yiwei year, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, he entered quiescence. Upon cremation, the relics were of five colours. Later, when people passed by that place, they obtained even more of them. His stūpa was erected north of Huitang's abbot quarters.
