高僧傳 11.132

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [11.132](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2059.11.132)

讚曰：盤杅設戒，几杖施銘。人如不勗，奚用剋成。納衣既補，篇聚由生。緘持口意，枯槁心形。怡慼兩鏡，欣憂二瓶。

> The encomium states: Basins and vessels were inscribed with admonitions; / tables and walking sticks bore mottoes. / If a person does not exert himself, / how can he achieve success? / Once the patched robes were mended, / the categories of offenses arose therefrom. / Sealing and guarding mouth and mind, / his mind and body were withered and parched. / Joy and sorrow are two mirrors; / delight and grief are two vases.
