> Que Gongze of the Jin dynasty entered the Lotus Society of Mount Lu. After he passed away, a friend held a memorial service for him at night at Baima Monastery in Luoyang. Suddenly, the trees, halls, and pavilions all turned golden. A voice in the air said, 'I am Que Gongze. I prayed for rebirth in Sukhāvatī, and now I have attained rebirth.' When the words ceased, nothing more was seen.
