> Jia Chunren of the Song was a native of Zhechuan. He served as vice prefect of Yingzhou. He devoted his mind to pure karma, maintaining a perpetual vegetarian diet and engaging in buddhamanasikāra. Due to a slight illness, he sat in peaceful meditation facing west and passed away. Above his crown appeared a circular halo of white light, and an extraordinary fragrance filled the room.
