- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [29.5](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2076.29.5)

> The Dharma-nature is originally constantly tranquil, / vast and without boundaries. / Pacifying the mind between grasping and discarding, / one is turned around by those two realms. / Composing the countenance, entering absorption, and sitting in meditation, / gathering in objects, pacifying the mind, with coarse and subtle thought— / this is a wooden automaton practicing the Way; / when can it ever reach the other shore? / All phenomena are fundamentally empty without attachment; / realms are like floating clouds that must disperse. / Suddenly awakening to the original emptiness of one's fundamental nature / is just like breaking into a sweat from a burning fever. / Do not speak of this before the unwise, / lest it shatter your physical body into scattering stars.
