The master asked, "Have you ever cited to anyone the line where you gained realization on Nanyue in the past?" The upāsaka said, "I have cited it." The master said, "To whom did you cite it?" The upāsaka pointed to himself with his hand and said, "Old Pang." The master said, "Even Mañjuśrī and Subhūti would praise you as surpassing them!"
