> Head Monk Yin of Shuangxi in Wuzhou, from the time he saw Zhenjing, thoroughly verified the ancestral principles. He returned to reclusion in Shuangxi. One day, he casually wrote: / 'The broken-legged pot slowly simmers by itself; / after finishing the meal, I constantly sit like a heap. / Ever since my livelihood became clumsy of late, / the hundred birds carry flowers, flying off and coming no more.' / Also, because his everyday robe was extremely tattered, he composed a verse: / 'Only when unhung with a single thread does one escape the cold; / why bother especially with a fluttering long pole? / Now that it is so threadbare and falling to pieces, / where can the names of the Seven Buddhas find a place?'
