- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [24.9](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2077.24.9)

> Chan Master Ganlu Dazhu of Zhenjiang Prefecture was a native of Fuzhou. He ascended the hall: "The noble and the common are not divided; past and present are only one. It is simply that fire seeks dryness and water seeks dampness; one digs a well and drinks, tills the field and eats. Great assembly! Old Wang of the eastern village has gone and not returned; in chaotic profusion, yellow leaves scatter in vain."
