Hearing expositions of the characteristics of the Lotus Treasury World, he always longed for it in his heart. Indulging in errors in monastic duties, he entered the Red Lotus Hell, but mistook it for the Lotus Treasury World, joyfully praising the wondrous land of the Lotus Treasury. At that moment the hell transformed into the Lotus Treasury; those suffering who heard his chant all sat on lotus flowers. The hell warden reported this to King Yama.
