> East of the city is the monastery of Aśoka's younger brother. There is also a stupa erected by Aśoka, where the Buddha once preached the Dharma; all prayers are answered. In the south of the country near the sea is Mount Malaya, where there are white sandalwood trees. There are also karpūra camphor trees, with pine-like trunks and distinct leaves, whose fragrance is like ice and snow; that is, borneol camphor.
