弘明集 4.50

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [4.50](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2102.4.50)

釋曰。不陋積慶。已申信順之條。貫希來生。亦具感報之說。藻袞大裘同用一體。蹲膜揖讓何為不俱行一世。理有可兼無謂宜捨。

> \[Zheng Daozi\] explains: I do not disparage accumulated blessings; I have already expounded the path of faithfulness and obedience. In penetrating hopes for a future life, I have also fully set forth the doctrine of resonance and retribution. The painted robe and the grand fur cloak are used together upon a single body; why should squatting down with hands together and bowing with folded hands not be practiced together in one generation? In principle they can be combined; do not say that one ought to be discarded.
