> Furthermore, the Zao tiandi jing says: When converting the barbarian king in the west, Laozi transformed his body and departed; his left eye became the sun, and his right eye became the moon. According to the Xuanmiao jing, Laozi rode the essence of the sun to enter the mouth of Qingmiao. This means Laozi rode the essence of a single eye to enter her mouth! Considering that the Great Dao and the Penetrating Spirit are omnipresent, must he rely on a single essence to enter the womb? If he had to rely on an essence, the essence depends on the head; if he rode the head to enter, both eyes would have come together. Now, to ride a single eye to enter—does this produce a Great Dao of one-sided sight? This is also laughable.
