- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.20](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2118.2.20)

> It is because the small cannot contain the great, and the great does not dwell within the small. Therefore, a cauldron of ten thousand bushels cannot be filled with a bowl of water. (Containing five dou is called a bushel \[hu\]. A cauldron \[ding\] has two ears and three legs. This means that for a cauldron holding ten thousand bushels, how could a single almsbowl of water ever fill it?)
