折疑論 2.51

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [2.51](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2118.2.51)

譬如渴人飲海。飽而自足。焉知其餘哉（復結上文意。卷萬億數之義。譬如極渴之人飲大海之水。飽足則止。焉知其餘廣大）。

> It is like a thirsty man drinking from the ocean: when he is full and satisfied of himself, what need has he to know the rest? (Again concluding the sense of the above text: regarding the meaning of the tens of thousands and hundreds of millions, it is like a person parched with thirst drinking the waters of the great ocean; when he has drank his fill, he stops. What need has he to know the rest of its vastness?)
