> are the utmost in music. If one tunes them with the harmony of the five notes, performs them with the beauty of the nine completions, and sings of the style and bearing of the former kings, auspicious phoenixes will soar, propitious clouds will float, sweet dew will descend, sweet springs will gush forth, the phoenix will arrive and conduct itself gracefully, and birds and beasts will dance together.
