### [5.76](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2118.5.76)

> His Way was rooted in Dao and De, humaneness, righteousness, ritual, and music. (When the Master practiced his Way, it was rooted in the Dao and De of non-action and spontaneity of Yao and Shun. Humaneness is the virtue of the mind and the ritual of love. Righteousness is the wisdom of the mind and the fittingness of affairs. Ritual is the regulation and pattern of heavenly principle and the model of human affairs. Music shifts customs and transforms habits, being governed by harmony.)
