> In the realm of the Buddha Amitābha, there are always various wonderful birds of diverse colours: white swans, peacocks, parrots, śārikās, kalaviṅkas, and jīvañjīvaka birds. During the six periods of the day and night, they produce harmonious and elegant sounds. The sounds proclaim such teachings as the five faculties, the five powers, the seven limbs of awakening, and the eight limbs of the noble path. Sentient beings of that land, hearing these sounds, are all mindful of the Three Jewels (taken from the Amitābha Sūtra).
