There is a great fire pit whose flames burn fiercely; on both sides of that pit there are great flaming mountains. Seizing those sinners, \[the wardens\] impale them upon iron forks, standing them upright in the fire, where double fires scorch them so that their skin and flesh are charred and rotted. Because their remaining retribution is not yet finished, it makes them not die.
