> According to the \*Lokasthiti-sūtra\*, the people of Jambudvīpa have a body height of three and a half cubits, and their clothes are seven cubits long and three and a half cubits wide. The people of Godānīya and Pūrvavideha have bodily and clothing measurements equal to those of Jambudvīpa. The people of Uttarakuru have a body height of seven cubits, and their clothes are fourteen cubits long, with the upper and lower portions being seven cubits \[wide\]. Asuras have a body height of one yojana, and their clothes are two yojanas long and one yojana wide, weighing half a kārṣāpaṇa (in Sui terminology: half a liang. Other sūtras state that the size of asuras is variable; for example, the asura Vipracitti is four times the height of Mount Sumeru).
