> The fourth is called 'prostration that generates wisdom and purity'. This is truly because one penetrates the Buddha's realm; with the sharp and bright discernment of the wisdom-mind regarding the realm, one deeply understands that the dharmadhātu originally has no obstruction. Because from beginningless time I have conformed to the worldly mundane, conceiving of existence where there is none, and conceiving of obstruction where there is none, now I realize that my own mind is empty, open, and unimpeded. Therefore, when performing prostrations to the Buddha, in accordance with the mind's immediate perception, prostrating to one Buddha is prostrating to all Buddhas; all Buddhas are just one Buddha. Because the substance of the Buddha's dharmakāya is universally identical and interpenetrating, a single prostration pervades the entire dharmadhātu. Such offerings of incense, flowers, and the like are all analogous to this. Increasing reverence toward the Dharma and Saṃgha is also the same for me. Although the three marks are distinct, the underlying nature is not different; therefore, though the names of the three vehicles differ, their essence of liberation is identical. Hence know that one prostration is all prostrations, and all prostrations are one prostration. When one has thus penetrated the Three Jewels, one regards all within the three realms, the six destinies, and the four modes of birth as Buddhas, making offerings and prostrating to them. One's own body and mind are purified, vast and unobstructed. Visualizing the Buddha's realm, thought after thought becomes ever brighter. Every bow and every rise is supreme and foremost; this is pure karma, with endless fruits and limitless retribution. This is called the 'prostration that generates wisdom'.
