> Worthy men yearn for noble integrity, / Aspiring to the causes of bodhi. / Riding cranes, they soar over the Yi River; / Spurring steeds, they depart the royal lands. / Making fundamental prayers, they establish great vows, / Evoking the retribution of Amitābha's body. / The Benevolent Sage cultivated the eightfold noble path, / Surpassing \[the schedule\] by nine kalpas. / His fame resounds throughout the three realms; / His compassionate transformation pervades the trichiliocosm. / Obscuring dust, he stills delusive thoughts; / Commoners and sages alike are filled with joy. / Sentient beings share the same aspiration, / Preserving benefits to enlighten the mind and spirit. / Birth and death shall surely be exhausted forever; / How could he be compared to the immortals of Zhuangzi and Laozi?
