> 'I now take refuge in all
> The unsurpassed honored ones,
> In order to open the storehouse of the Dharma King
> And broadly benefit the multitude of beings.
> The Buddha's body has no prior limit,
> Nor does it have a middle limit,
> Nor also does it have a subsequent limit;
> Serene, self-awakened and aware.
> Having already awakened and known for oneself,
> Awakening others and causing them to awaken,
> Therefore, for their sake, he proclaims
> The fearless and constantly practiced Path.
> The power of the Buddha's wisdom and compassion
> Can hold the vajra pestle
> To shatter the mountains of various views;
> Therefore I now pay homage.
> The inconceivable Dharma
> Is not the domain of the wisdom gained from hearing;
> Transcending the path of verbal speech,
> It is the cool refreshment of inner wisdom.
> That true and wonderful sun of the Dharma,
> Pure and free of defilement,
> With the light of great wisdom
> Illuminates all worlds throughout.
> It can destroy all obscurations and cataracts,
> Discursive thought, greed, anger, and ignorance,
> And all the afflictions and the like;
> Therefore I now pay homage.
> Because of being able to know that
> Naturally pure mind,
> Seeing that the afflictions are devoid of reality,
> One is therefore separated from all afflictions.
> Unimpeded and pure wisdom
> Views sentient beings as they truly are;
> The naturally pure mind
> Is the realm of the Buddha's Dharmakāya.
> The unhindered and pure eye of wisdom
> Sees the nature of all sentient beings
> Pervading immeasurable realms;
> Therefore I now pay homage.'
