> With reverence, we reflect on Śākya descending his spirit into Kapilavastu, entrusting his form to the royal palace. His true wisdom was innate knowledge; his Way was all-pervading awakening. He manifested the brightness of wisdom throughout the hundred millions \[of worlds\], and poured down the rain of Dharma over the great thousand \[world systems\]. Numinous images fill the ten directions; jewelled stūpas pervade the realm of phenomena. Exquisite incense is densely fragrant, like light clouds dispersing mist; precious flowers hold vibrant colors, like inverted lotus roots hanging blossoms. Revering them with sincere devotion, all proceed to the Dharma feast; bowing heads and snapping fingers, all partake in blessings and benefits.
