> During the Taixing era of the Jin, Dong Wang of Yuqian had faith in and venerated a wooden image. At night it had radiant light. Later, beside the image, there was a sound falling to the ground; looking at it, it was a śarīra. Floating and sinking in water, it shone brightly in five colours and circumambulated clockwise three times. Later, the śramaṇa Fachang came to look at it; it then leapt up four or five feet high and fell into Chang's embrace. Chang said, "If Chang is made to build a temple, may I further see your majestic spirit." It again leapt up before him. Chang immediately built a temple and stūpa for it. In Yuqian, those who entered the Dharma numbered in the dozens daily.
