Her husband was foolish and immediately followed his wife's words; he took his mother out into the open wilderness, bound her hands and feet, and was about to do her harm. The extremity of this rebellious crime touched high Heaven; clouds and mist gathered from all directions and brought down a thunderbolt, striking and killing the son. The mother then returned home. The wife, opening the door and thinking it was her husband, asked, saying, 'Did you kill her yet?' The mother-in-law replied, 'I have already killed \[him\].'
