> Skillfully guiding so that hearts were subdued.
> The eight waters moisten the parched sprouts;
> The three knowledges open the blind eyes.
> The incoming questions were each different,
> Yet the answering replies were all fragrant and rich.
> He hoped to discard the terrors of the four dragons,
> And also eliminate the pursuit of the two mice.
> The mind-tree puts forth flowers of emptiness;
> The heart-lotus gives off a subtle fragrance.
> Comparing this to the changes of the blue sea,
> Or likening it to the ripening of the mango.
> His wondrous wisdom is comparable to patterned brocade;
> His profound words are like misty gauze.
> Skillful learning differs from the Brahma-nails;
> True words are distinct from the iron-plated belly.
