His playful, quick-witted jokes were all of this sort. Later, because of the flourishing of the Buddhadharma in the Guanzhong region, he wished to renounce household life. Jian cherished him and would not permit it. Only after Jian's death did he finally fulfill his aspiration, changing his name to Daozheng.
