> The Xu soushen ji says: After the Jin Restoration, Zhou Ziwen of Qiao Commandery lived in Jinling. In his youth, he took pleasure in hunting with bows. Once, he entered the mountains to hunt. Suddenly, amidst the mountain peaks, he saw a man about fifty feet tall holding a bow and arrow, the arrowhead being about two feet broad and white as frost and snow. He suddenly came out from the crags and called out, "A-shu!" (A-shu was Ziwen's childhood name). Inadvertently, Ziwen responded, "Yes?" This man drew his bow with the arrowhead fully pulled, aiming at Ziwen. Ziwen lost his wits and collapsed in terror.
