She then reported to the queen, saying: 'Just now outside I heard the attendants searching for the princes, not knowing where they are.' Having heard this, the queen was filled with great grief and distress. She went to the great king and conveyed this matter in full. Hearing it, the king fainted in choking grief and affliction.
