> Furthermore, the Saṃyuktaratnapiṭaka Sūtra states: The Buddha said: 'This wish-fulfilling jewel comes from the brain of a great makara fish. The fish's body is two hundred and eighty thousand li long. This jewel is named "Vajra-Hardness". It possesses a primary power: it can cause all poisoned persons who see it to have the poison eliminated; moreover, seeing its light touch their body also dispels the poison. As for its second power: persons with fever are healed upon seeing it; when its light touches their body, they also recover. As for its third power: if a person has immeasurable hundreds of thousands of enemies, whoever holds this jewel will make them all become close friends. A single fingernail of the devas is worth the value of the people and goods of an entire Jambudvīpa.'
