> Furthermore, the \*Zabaozang jing\* states: “The Buddha said: ‘This cintāmaṇi came from the brain of a great makara fish. The fish's body was two hundred and eighty thousand li long. This jewel is named Diamond-Firm. It possesses a primary power: it can cause all poisoned persons, upon merely seeing it, to have the poison completely eliminated; furthermore, seeing its light touch one's body also removes poison. Its second power is: those with fever diseases, upon seeing it, are cured; when its light touches their body, they also recover. Its third power is: if a person has immeasurable hundreds of thousands of enemies, whoever grasps this jewel will find them all becoming friendly and close. A single fingernail of the devas is worth the value of the people and material goods of an entire Jambudvīpa.’”
