> Nowadays, monastic residences are often called 'Xiao Temples'; this must be because Emperor Wu of Liang built temples and used his family name for their inscriptions. In the Tang, Li Yue bought a temple plaque of Emperor Wu of Liang from Huainan, on which Xiao Ziyun had written the character 'Xiao' in grand flying-white calligraphy; he brought it back to his residence in Luoyang and encased it in a small pavilion, which he named Xiao Qi. May gentleman of broad knowledge correct this further.
