據\[田/(十-一+(前-刖))\]牀（居御反考聲據安也所依也韻英按也從手豦聲音渠說文從虍音乎從豕經文作據俗謬也又說卑字從甲從左字統云稱卑云於左者卑也牀字從木從爿音牆）。

> Leaning upon a low couch (據\[田/(十-一+(前-刖))\]牀: \[the character 據 (lean upon)\] is 居 \[ju\] + 御 \[yu\] \[jù\]. The Kaosheng says: '據 means to settle; that which one relies on.' The Yunying says: 'To press down.' Composed of the hand radical (扌/手) with 豦 as phonetic; the pronunciation of 豦 is 渠 \[qú\]. The Shuowen jiezi has it under the tiger radical (虍), pronounced 乎 \[hū\], and from pig (豕). The sūtra text writing it as 據 is a conventional error. It also explains that the character for low couch (\[田/(十-一+(前-刖))\]) is composed of 甲 and 左. The Zitong says: 'Referring to it as low (卑) means placing it on the left (左); it is low.' The character for couch (牀) is composed of 木 and 爿, pronounced 牆 \[qiáng\]).
