拘睒彌（上音俱次商染反此句梵語不求字義中印度國名也佛在時此國有王名隖陀衍那唐言出愛古譯或云優陀延或名優填王皆訛略也）。

> Kauśāmbī (拘睒彌: the first character is pronounced 俱, the second has the fanqie 商染. This phrase is Sanskrit; its literal Chinese character meaning is not to be sought. It is the name of a country in Central India. When the Buddha was in the world, this country had a king named Udayana, translated into the Tang language as "Born of Love" (Chulai). Older translations called him 優陀延 or King Udayana (優填王), both of which are corrupt abbreviations).
