> 燥牛𭫮 (zào niú fèn; the first character has the fanqie: sāng + dào \[zào\]. The Zhouyi says: 'Fire moves towards what is dry.' The Shuowen jiezi says: '燥 means dry. It takes 火 as semantic component and 喿 as phonetic component.' 喿 has the same pronunciation as above. The last character has the fanqie: fēn + wèn \[fèn\]. It is a vulgar form; the orthodox form is written with \[(崋-山)-一+(卄\*├)\] as 𭫮. The Shuowen jiezi writes it as 𡊅: 'To discard and sweep away dung.' The Yunying says: 'Dung (糞) also means filth.' It is also written as \[土\*(米/井)\] or \[土\*(米/世/木)\]. In the sūtra it is written with 土 as 𡐢, which does not constitute a character.)
