一切經音義 16.24

- **Language:** Classical Chinese

### [16.24](https://indike.org/pramana/in.bauddha.taisho.2128.16.24)

清泠（下歷丁反清泠水澄淨皃說文從水令聲經從氷非也若音勒打反非經意）。

> 清泠 (Qīnglíng, cool and clear: the lower character has the fanqie Li-ding \[líng\]. Qīnglíng is the appearance of limpid, clear water. The Shuowen says: 'It takes its classifier from 水 and is phonetic in 令 \[lìng\].' The sūtra takes its classifier from 氷, which is incorrect. If it is read with the fanqie Le-da \[lè\], that is not the intention of the sūtra).
