- **Language:** Classical Chinese

一滴（丁歷反說文滴謂水欒注也從水啻聲或作適經文從帝作渧音丁計反渧水流下也非經義恐書寫人悞也）。

> 一滴 (di, fanqie 丁歷 \[d- + -(l)ek\]): The Shuowen jiezi says: 'Di means water pouring down continuously.' It takes the water semantic and di (啻) phonetic. Sometimes written as 適. In the sūtra text it is written with the di (帝) radical as 渧, pronounced \[di, fanqie\] 丁計; 渧 means water flowing downwards, which is not the meaning intended in the sūtra; this is likely an error by a copyist.
