珠交露幔（莫半反說文慢幕也從巾曼聲在傍曰帷在上曰幕幕覆也覆露也諸經珠交露盖珠交露車同其事也有作縵說文繒帛無文曰縵非幔正體見寶塔品當更重釋）。

> Curtain interwoven with pearls (zhu jiaolu man): (mo + ban \[màn\]. The Shuowen says: "A man is an overhead canopy." It follows 'cloth' \[jin\] with man \[曼\] as phonetic. That at the sides is called a wei; that above is called a mu. Mu means to cover; to cover what is exposed. The 'jewel-interwoven exposed canopies' and 'jewel-interwoven exposed carriages' in various sūtras are the same thing. Some write 縵; the Shuowen says: "Plain patterned silk is called man." This is not the proper form of curtain \[幔\]; it will be explained again when encountered in the 'Treasure Stūpa Chapter').
