草篆（傳戀反謹案經意縛草葦為火炬燎病人時俗語號為草篆非雅言也字書名草\[椋-小+(日/干)\]\[椋-小+(日/干)\]音准閏反俗字作椁字統云束稈也考聲云束草以稈窖也或盖牆也智者可證明矣）。

> 草篆 (pronounced with the fanqie 傳 + 戀 \[zhuàn\]. Carefully checking the scripture's meaning: bundles of grass and reeds were made into torches to singe the sick, which in the colloquial language of the time was called cǎozhuàn; this is not elegant diction. Character dictionaries name this grass \[椋-小+(日/干)\], which is pronounced with the fanqie 准 + 閏 \[zhùn\], and the popular character is written 椁. The Zitong says: "Bundled stalks." The Kaosheng says: "To bundle grass so as to cover an underground cellar with stalks; or to cover a wall." Wise persons will clearly verify this).
