麝𪏰（上蛇夜反山海經云翠山多麝香郭注云麝似麞而䐡中有香也又注尒雅云父麋也古今正字從鹿射聲下正體香字也說文云香芬也從黍從甘謂馨黍稷馨香也）。

> 麝𪏰: The first character has the fanqie \[sh\]é + \[y\]è. The Shanhaijing says: "Cui Mountain has much musk deer (麝)." Guo\['s\] commentary says: "The musk deer resembles a roe deer, and has fragrance inside its navel." Also, his commentary on the Erya says: "The male of the mi-deer." The Gujin zhengzi says it is composed of the deer radical (鹿) and 射 phonetic. The second character is the orthodox form of the character 香. The Shuowen \[jiezi\] says: "Fragrance (香) means sweet-smelling. Composed of 黍 ('millet') and 甘 ('sweet'), referring to the aromatic scent of broomcorn and foxtail millet."
