紺𤯝（上甘暗反下戚盈反說文云帛染青而揚赤色或作絟𦇝音與上同此皆馬鄭所用古字也下青字說文從生從丹今隸書訛略也）。

> Dark blue and pure (紺𤯝: the upper character \[紺\] is pronounced \*g\[an\]\* + \*\[a\]n\* \[gàn\]. The lower character \[𤯝\] is pronounced \*q\[i\]\* + \*\[y\]ing\* \[qīng\]. The \*Shuowen \[jiezi\]\* says: "Silk dyed dark blue with a reddish luster." It is also written 絟 or 𦇝, with the same pronunciation as above; these are ancient characters used by Ma \[Rong\] and Zheng \[Xuan\]. For the character below, \*qing\* (青), the \*Shuowen \[jiezi\]\* has it classified under \*sheng\* (生) and \*dan\* (丹); in modern clerical script it has become corrupted and abbreviated).
