髑髏（上音獨下音婁說文云髑髏頂骨也埤蒼云頭骨也字書云腦蓋也或作髑髏或名頭顱或名𲊮徒各反顱音盧皆一義亦由楚夏音殊輕重訛轉耳）。

> Skull (髑髏): The first character is pronounced like 獨. The second character is pronounced like 婁. The Shuowen says: '髑髏 is the parietal bone.' The Picang says: 'The skull bone.' A character dictionary says: 'The brain cover.' It is also called 髑髏, or named 頭顱, or named 𲊮 (read with the fanqie 徒 + 各; 顱 is pronounced like 盧)—all share one meaning; it is merely that the sounds of Chu and Xia differ, resulting in light and heavy phonetic shifts and corruptions.
