鐵鍱（上天結反說文云黑金也從金𢧜聲也𢧜音跌經從隹作䥫俗字也下閻接反外道邪見云我智滿腹恐其溢出以鐵鍱裹肚時俗号為勞肚必是也）。

> 鐵鍱 ('iron plates'): For the first character, the fanqie is \[t- + ian \>\] tiān and \[j- + ie \>\] jié. The Shuowen says: 'Black metal. Composed of 金 with 𢧜 phonetic.' 𢧜 is pronounced dié. The sūtra writes it with 隹 as 䥫, which is a vulgar character. For the second character, the fanqie is \[y- + an \>\] yán and \[j- + ie \>\] jiè. Non-Buddhists of wrong view claimed: 'My wisdom fills my belly, and fearing it might overflow, I wrap my belly with iron plates.' Popularly in those days, such a person was called 'the belly-burdened one' (Sachin); this must be it.
