(Distressed and flurried: The first \[character\] has the sound 邑 \[yì\]. Wang Yi's commentary on the Chuci says: '悒 means \[grief\].' The Gujin zhengzi says: 'With the radical 心 it means sorrow; sighing.' The Cang Jie pian says: 'The appearance of not being at ease.' The Shuowen says: 'Uneasy; it has the radical 心 and the phonetic 邑.' The second \[character\] has the sound 渠 \[qú\]. Du Yu's commentary on the Zuo zhuan says: '遽 means dread and fear.' Jia Kui's commentary on the Guoyu says: '遽 means swift.' Zheng Xuan's commentary on the Analects says: '遽 means sudden.' The Shuowen says: 'Hard-pressed. It has the radical 辵 and the phonetic 豦.' In the sūtra text it is written with the heart radical as 懅, which is an error.)
